And because of this it is pure and untouched by many of the toxins and pollutants that you see in other forms of salt. The stone can be heated slowly on a gas stove to a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius which allows you to cook meat or fish on it. It can also be put in the freezer to serve cold dishes like sushi, carpaccio or icecream.
